Man City survived a few nervous moments Wednesday evening before their class showed through with a 3-0 victory over Brighton. Watford did not play in midweek and last time out suffered late heartache in a 2-1 loss to Brentford.
A victory here would move City four points clear in the title race while with a six-goal inferior goal-difference they will look to push on for goals if they get ahead early. Things are looking bleak for Watford who are seven points behind Everton in 17th with just six matches remaining.
At the Etihad, Pep and his side have won seven of their last nine Premier League games and have netted at least two goals in each of their last five. On the road, the Hornets have lost just two of their last five and lost 2-0 on a recent visit to Anfield.
Kevin de Bruyne is in good goalscoring form with four in his last five league games while Riyad Mahrez has three in five. Emmanuel Dennis is the leading Watford scorer this campaign with ten goals and he netted last time out against the Bees.
