RB Leipzig replaced their manager Jesse Marsch at the weekend after a third successive league loss (2-1 to Union Berlin) on Friday. It hasn’t been an easy Champions League campaign here with just four points from their five played so far. They sit level with Club Brugge going into this one with a place in the Europa League up for grabs.
Man City are going strong on all fronts with a 3-1 victory at Watford on Saturday putting them top of the Premier League table. In the Champions League, the group is secured thanks to four victories from their last five. They will likely rest players here but with so much squad depth they will clearly still be dangerous.
RB Leipzig vs Man City Predictions
The hosts need all three points against Man City to be sure of the Europa League spot and given their lack of strengh in defence then attacking might be their best option. They will hope that Man City are passive but City have so much depth and battle for places even their reverse will have goals in them. The reverse fixture ended 6-3 and this one is also likely to go over 3.5 goals.
Christopher Nkunku has been one of the few shining lights for RB Leipzig this season and has five goals in his last six in all competitons. He goes off a big price to net here against a City side who have not kept a Champions League clean sheet this campaign.
