Luton picked up their first victory of the campaign last time out with a 2-0 road success away at Swansea thanks to a goal each from Allan Campbell and Carlton Morris. The Bedfordshire have been unlucky to get just five points this season according to expected goals and should continue to pick up points if performances continue like this.
At Kenilworth Road, the Hatters have played twice this season drawing 0-0 with Birmingham and losing 1-0 to Preston. The expected goals data suggests these results were harsh and instead it might be better to look to the fact they have lost just twice here in the league in 2022.
Sheffield United continued their good start with a comfortable 3-0 home victory over Blackburn last weekend. It means it is ten points from the opening five for the Yorkshire outfit with three wins, a draw and one solitary defeat.
On the road, the Blades have taken just one point from their two played as well suffering defeat in the League Cup. They were involved in a 2-2 entertaining away tie with Middlesbrough earlier in the campaign and it was now four of their last five away games that have seen both teams net.
Luton vs Sheffield United Match Stats
With 18th playing host to the league leaders it at first seems a curious thing to do to take on the visitors here. That being said they have struggled more on the road and by the end of the season these two sides should be a lot closer in the table which means at these prices the home team look value in the draw no bet market.
Iliman Ndiaye has had five shots on target already this season but has only played 325 minutes. He changed the game with his brace off the bench last weekend and with Billy Sharp a long-term absentee should feature as a forward here. Sky Bet have an enhanced special on him to hit the target with 2+ shots and although we are siding with the home team in the match markets this could be a game high on chances at both ends.

The meeting between the pair last season were controlled by the Blades who took four points from their two clashes. It continues a historical dominance that has seen the Hatters win just five of 16 meetings with United. Rhian Brewster has yet to score in this campaign but did net against Luton last time they met and will hope for similar here.
