Luton have not missed former boss Nathan Jones has current boss Rob Edwards has done an excellent job since taking over moving them into fourth. Their 1-1 draw with Preston in midweek was a second successive game to finish all-square and stretched their unbeaten run to five.
The Hatters tend to be involved in entertaining games with eight of their last 11 in the Championship seeing both teams net. Carlton Morris is the main man for them in front of goal with 12 for the campaign which makes him the third highest scorer in the division.
Burnley sit top of the Championship table and really struck gold when appointing Vincent Kompany as manager in the summer. A 1-1 draw with Watford in midweek brought to an end a ten game winning run that has seen them go eight points clear of second and 15 ahead of third and it is only matter of when not if they secure promotion.
Nathan Tella has been the main man for the Clarets this season with 12 goals while Jay Rodriguez has also chipped in with nine. Such has been their dominance that they have the highest ranked attack in the division and the joint (along with Sheffield United) defensive record.
Luton vs Burnley match stats
The hosts are having a great season and at home they are impressive losing on just three occasions. Ordinarily it would not make sense to oppose Luton but Burnley are the exception to the rule. The visitors have won ten of their last 11 and they look value to take three more points here.
Nathan Tella has 12 goals to his name this season including a recent hat-trick. He is probably the key player for the best team in the league. Luton might be difficult opponents but to find him available as high as 4/1 to score anytime is remarkable.
