Liverpool were impressive last weekend as they crushed Man United 5-0 at Old Trfford behind a hat-trick from Mo Salah. The Merseysiders sit in second place one point behind Chelsea and one above Man City in what is now clearly a three team title race. At Anfield, they have won two and drawn two this season although these draws were with Chelsea and Man City.
Brighton saw their unbeaten run come to an end with a 4-1 defeat at home to Man City last weekend and then in midweek they exited the League Cup on penalties to Tottenham. It is now four matches without a victory in the league for the Seagulls who have drawn three of these. Away from the Amex, they are unbeaten this season with two victories and two draws in the top flight.
Liverpool vs Brighton: Match Stats
It is tough to oppose any of the big three (Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool) at the moment and especially the Merseysiders. Confidence will be high after hammering Man United last weekend and backing them to win and over 3.5 goals is the right choice.
Mo Salah has seven in five in the league (including the hat-trick last weekend) and backing him to grab two or more goals is the simple but logical play.
