Leicester vs Everton: Predictions
Leicester City’s poor run of four games without a win over the final weeks of November and their first December fixture have since given way to three straight victories in all competitions, with Jamie Vardy’s last-minute winner at Sheffield United giving the Foxes a real confidence boost it seems.
Since that winner at Bramall Lane, Brendan Rodgers’ men have won back-to-back home games against AEK Athens and Brighton & Hove Albion without conceding a goal and they’ll look to make it four consecutive victories in all competitions here to put the pressure on Liverpool and Tottenham, the only two teams above them in the table as things stand.
Everton started the season as the in-form team to watch, but a raft of injuries and a loss of form for some key players have since seen them slip away somewhat, with away defeats to Southampton and Newcastle United being particularly disappointing for Carlo Ancelotti and his backroom staff.
However, after earning a point on the road at Burnley last week, the Toffees followed up with a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in front of the returning minimal Goodison Park crowd over the weekend – can they build on that victory on this trip to the King Power?

Leicester vs Everton: Match Stats
Jamie Vardy was once again on the scoresheet for Leicester in their weekend win over Brighton & Hove Albion. The 33 year old now has 10 goals to his name in just 11 Premier League appearances this term and he found the net in this fixture last season as the Foxes came from a goal down to win 2-1.
At the other end of the pitch, Jonny Evans is integral to Leicester’s defensive efforts but he could have his work cut out as he comes up against the in-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin here. The former Manchester United man has picked up five bookings already this season, the joint-highest in the league, so we can see him being cautioned again here.
06 October 2018 – Leicester City 1-2 Everton – Premier League
01 January 2019 – Everton 0-1 Leicester City – Premier League
01 December 2019 – Leicester City 2-1 Everton – Premier League
18 December 2019 – Everton 2-2 Leicester City – League Cup
01 July 2020 – Everton 2-1 Leicester City – Premier League
Both teams ran out 2-1 winners when on home soil in this fixture last season. At the King Power, goals from Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho completed a comeback win for the Foxes, but two goals in the first 16 minutes saw the Toffees through to the three points in the reverse fixture in July.
