Inter remain in the box seat to reclaim the Scudetto this season, with Simone Inzaghi’s men capable of leapfrogging rivals AC Milan if they win their game in hand on the current Serie A table-toppers. Edin Dzeko enters this showdown with a formidable record against Genoa. The Griffin are one of two teams Dzeko has been directly involved in more goals than any other club in Europe’s top five leagues, alongside Hoffenheim. He has scored four goals and registered six assists in 10 Serie A matches against them.
And it may be aerially where the Bosnian gets the most fortune in this contest. Inter have scored the most headed goals in Serie A this season (14), with Edin Dzeko their most aerially prolific (4) — and the second-most in the entire division — while Genoa have conceded the most (13).
