Man Utd vs Fulham: Predictions
Neither side has anything to play for in the remaining two games of the season, with Man Utd guaranteed a top-four finish and Fulham already relegated. Instead, Man Utd will look at this game as a way to prepare for their Europa League final against Villarreal.
The Red Devils confirmed their Champions League spot a while ago and, until last week, had slim hopes of taking the Premier League title away from Manchester City. But Man Utd’s dreams were ended by a 4-2 defeat to Liverpool last week to cap off a busy period for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in which they had to play three games in five days – also losing to Leicester.
Fulham’s fate was also sealed last week with their 2-0 defeat to Burnley condemning the Cottagers to an immediate return to the Championship. Many felt that Fulham’s relegation had been coming but Scott Parker’s side were still in with a chance in mid-March as the teams above them were in poor form.
However, Fulham’s own poor run ultimately cost them. The Cottagers are winless in their past eight Premier League matches, losing seven, including each of their past three. So now it’s all about ending their Premier League campaign on a high and potentially finishing about West Bromwich Albion for pride.

Man Utd vs Fulham: Match Stats
Man Utd have had to rotate their team quite heavily, especially in recent games to deal with playing three matches in five days. But one player that has managed to shine despite the uncertainty is Mason Greenwood. Since the start of April, Greenwood has started five of Man Utd’s seven Premier League games, scoring five goals in those matches – plus another as a substitute. In fact, in that same period, no player has scored more goals than Greenwood in the Premier League (tied on six with Chris Wood).
One of the reasons for Fulham’s relegation has been their form in front of goal, with only Sheffield United scoring fewer than their 26 in the Premier League this season. It’s form that has continued recently, with the Cottagers failing to score in six of their past 11 Premier League matches, and not managing more than one in the games they did find the net.

Fulham are winless in their past 12 games against Manchester United, conceding 31 goals in the process, and losing the last three. In the previous meeting this season, Fulham actually took the lead but Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba fired back to keep Man Utd’s unbeaten record going.
