Fulham vs Leicester: Predictions
Pressure continues to pile on Scott Parker and his Fulham side following the surprise victory for Brighton over Tottenham on the weekend. The Seagulls have now opened a seven-point gap on the Cottagers now and Parker’s men have struggled to turn draws into three points all season.
Brendan Rodgers was left stunned on Sunday as his side suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Leeds United. The Foxes still sit in fourth place despite the defeat on the weekend, however, had they won they would have soared up the table into second spot and just two points behind Manchester City.
Fulham have failed to record a win in the league since November, which coincidently came against Wednesday’s visitors, Leicester. Two first-half goals proved enough to secure the points for the Cottagers as they managed to hang on despite a late scare from Harvey Barnes.
Both Tottenham and Liverpool were held to draws against Wednesday’s hosts and the Foxes will be looking to avoid another slip up in the quest to secure a place in next season’s Champions League. Still without their talisman Jamie Vardy, Leicester will be looking to James Maddison to continue his fine run in front of goal to secure maximum points.

Fulham vs Leicester: Match Stats
Maddison has netted six times in the league this season and three of them have come in the past five games. Although he has drawn blanks in the previous two outings the 24-year-old will have his sights on Alphonse Areola’s goal. The absence of Vardy has pushed Maddison further up the field with his previous three goals coming from inside the penalty area.
Although he does not top the Cottagers goal scoring tally, no Fulham player has had more shots than Ademola Lookman (39). The 23-year-old has been a prominent feature of Fulham’s team this season and has provided an attacking threat despite only converting three times in the league.

5 December 2018 – Fulham 1-1 Leicester – Premier League
29 October 2013 – Leicester 4-3 Fulham – League Cup
27 August 2008 – Fulham 3-2 Leicester – League Cup
Meetings between these two sides in the Premier League are sparse, however, in the few games they have met it has been a mixed bag of results. The Foxes tasted defeat in the reverse fixture back in November and will certainly be looking to right their wrongs from that loss.
