Tottenham vs West Ham match tip

Tottenham to score first @ 4/7

Tottenham haven’t won their past four league games, which sounds bad on its own. However, things are made worse when you consider that Tottenham scored the first goal in all four of those matches, losing three and drawing one. In fact, Tottenham have opened the scoring in each of their past eight Premier League games, with Arsenal the last team to score first against Ange Postecoglou’s side. And even that was an own goal from Cristian Romero!

Tottenham vs West Ham Bet-Builder tip

Jarrod Bowen to score anytime, BTTS and Over 2.5 goals

Jarrod Bowen made his return from injury at the weekend and he’s back at the perfect time. The Englishman loves playing away from home, scoring six goals in six away Premier League games this season, yet to fail to find the net on the road. He’ll be backed even more to score when you consider that both teams have found the net in four of Tottenham’s last five Premier League home matches. And each of West Ham’s last six Premier League away games have seen at least three goals scored.

West Ham

*Odds correct as of 15:30 on December 6

Tottenham go into this game fifth, which they’d surely have taken at the start of the season. But when you apply context, Tottenham fans have reason to be upset. Ange Postecoglou’s side were unbeaten after 10 games, winning eight and drawing two to sit top of the table. However, they are now winless in four, losing three in a bit of a capitulation. That losing run was ended with a draw against Manchester City at the weekend, but the task now is to get back to winning ways.

West Ham, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their past three games having lost three in a row. That run saw West Ham lose to Aston Villa, Everton and Brentford with varying levels of performances. But the overall consensus was that West Ham weren’t doing well enough. Before the November international break, the losing streak was ended with a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest and they built on that with another victory against Burnley. At the weekend, though, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace, leaving West Ham ninth.
