West Ham will be looking to bounce back after suffering their first ever group stage loss away from home in European football in midweek, falling to Greek side Olympiacos. That result made it back-to-back defeats across all competitions after a 4-1 loss to Aston Villa in the Premier League last weekend. The Hammers go into the weekend 9th with 14 points from their opening nine games and will be hoping to continue their impressive home form that has seen them have lose just three of their last 14 Premier League games at the London Stadium (W7 D4), with those all coming against clubs that finished in the top-five last season (1-5 v Newcastle, 1-2 v Liverpool, 1-3 v Man City).

As for Everton, their performances have been much more promising in recent weeks, even if the Toffees do only find themselves 16th with seven points on the board. Sean Dyche’s side were boosted by a 3-0 win over Bournemouth prior to the international break, but a 2-0 defeat to rivals Liverpool in the Merseyside derby leaves them just three points above the relegation zone.

West Ham vs Everton match tip

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score a header @ 15/2 with Midnite

Much of Everton’s chances of getting a result in this match fall on the shoulders of striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is looking to become just the fourth player to score 50 Premier League goals for the Toffees after Romelu Lukaku (68), Duncan Ferguson (60) and Tim Cahill (56). The Englishman also has an impressive record against the Hammers, as against no other side has he scored more goals in all competitions throughout his career than he has against West Ham (5).

19 of his previous 49 goals in the competition have been scored with his head (39%).
