How both teams go into Wales vs Montenegro
Wales made a very good start to their Nations League campaign last month, taking four points from two games. First, the Dragons battled to a 0-0 draw at home to Turkey in a game that, in all honesty, they should have won comfortably. But they found their shooting boots to take a 2-0 lead inside three minutes away in Montenegro, holding out for an eventual 2-1 win, ending a run of four without victory that included an embarrassing 0-0 draw with Gibraltar.
Prior to their defeat to Wales, Montenegro lost 2-0 away in Iceland, meaning they’ve lost their last four internationals, only scoring twice along the way.
Wales have a difficult trip to Iceland before this match, while Montenegro most go to group favourites Turkey.
