Their last nine games have seen them concede twelve or more shots on eight occasions, with only a travelling Ipswich falling short. Bournemouth racked up a whopping twenty-one shots midweek against Spurs, conceding an average of 18.66 shots across their last six matches.
The goal kicks are semi-related to the shot market, with Chelsea forcing over 5.5 goal kicks in fourteen of their last fifteen matches. Spurs have also conceded at least six in seven of their last nine.

Madueke has been impressive this season, proving his worth in this Chelsea side, although he is facing competition to lock down that RW position.

How both teams go into Tottenham vs Chelsea
It’s becoming a little uncanny quite how inconsistent Tottenham are in the Premier League. Their last five league results read W2 D1 L2, with victories coming against Aston Villa and away at Manchester City. Defeats against Ipswich and Bournemouth also feature in that sample, and after the 1-0 defeat to the Cherries on Thursday, Spurs have slipped to tenth in the table.
As for Chelsea, they are unbeaten in six Premier League matches and it’s also been impressive how Enzo Maresca has balanced the European schedule as we approach the festive season. The Blues sit second in the table heading into the weekend and another win here could see them deemed as realistic title challengers.
Tottenham team news
Ben Davies is the latest Spurs player to join the injury list in North London. The defender joins Richarlison, Wilson Odobert, Vicario, and Micky van de Ven on the sidelines. Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended and not due back until Boxing Day.
Chelsea team news
Chelsea have a fairly healthy squad for the trip to Spurs. However, Reece James and Wesley Fofana both have thigh issues, with the former not expected back until the new year.

Chelsea did the double over Tottenham last season, but Spurs have won in this fixture as recently as February 2023, when they beat the Blues 2-0 at home.
