Spain vs Brazil match tip
Spain to keep a clean sheet @ 7/4 by Midnite
Spain have been tough to beat at home of late. In fact, they’ve been nigh on impossible to score against. La Roja have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five international home matches, with Georgia the surprise team to breach the Spanish net.
Endrick to start at future home?
History was made when teenage substitute Endrick netted Brazil’s winner at the home of football. At 17 years and 246 days old, he became the youngest male player to score an international goal at Wembley and the youngest to score for Brazil since Ronaldo Nazario in 1994.
“If he keeps up the attitude he has shown up to now, he will be a very important name in Brazilian football and world football,” head coach Dorival told reporters.
This upcoming showdown will take place at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, and all eyes will be on Brazil’s team selection, as Endrick will soon call this stadium home.
Endrick, who grew up idolising Ronaldo, will leave boyhood club Palmeiras for Real Madrid this summer. Assimilating to his new surroundings in Spain’s capital will not be difficult as he already counts Real stars Éder Militão, Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo as international teammates.
Spain vs Brazil odds
This one is hard to call, as Spain was better than what they got against Colombia, and Brazil’s demise was prematurely written. In what could potentially be a cagey affair, the hosts are slight favourites, but don’t be surprised if this ends up being a drab match. We’re in the middle of a hectic season with players on both teams preferring to be restrained and not allowing being sidelined when club football resumes this weekend.
