Both Teams to Score (7/10 with BoyleSports)
Southampton will be looking to build confidence for their trip to Manchester United in the league next week and Ivan Juric will want to see a lot more from his side in the final third. The Saints have scored just ten goals from an open play xG of 18.25 this term, but will be confident of finding the net against lower-league opposition who they have beaten in the last four meetings.
Swansea however, have scored in seven of their last eight matches and will fancy their chances against a side that has picked up just six points all season and could be on course to set a new record for the fewest points accrued.
Harry Darling Anytime Goalscorer (14/1 with BoyleSports)
Only Wolves have conceded more goals than Southampton from set-pieces this season, with the Saints shipping 11 in the Premier League. Harry Darling is often an aerial threat for the Swans, with six of his last seven goals arriving via his head. Darling has scored twice this season in the Championship but is averaging well over a shot per game. He’s let off seven shots across his last three appearances and is worth a couple of quid to score anytime at 14/1.

How both teams go into Southampton vs Swansea
Cup football has provided a boost for Southampton during what has been a challenging return to the Premier League this season. The team reached the EFL Cup quarter-finals and hopes to replicate that success in the FA Cup, where they have had a strong showing in the past five years, including two fifth-round exits, a quarter-final appearance, and a semi-final appearance. The last time the Saints were eliminated in the third round was in 2019 when they lost to Derby County on penalties. Meanwhile, Swansea reached the fourth round last season, breaking a streak of consecutive third-round exits, one of which came against Southampton in 2022 after needing extra time.
