Aaron Ramsdale remains out with a broken finger, while Jan Bednarek is still a few weeks away from his return. Southampton will also be missing Ryan Fraser, Ross Stewart and Will Smallbone.

Liverpool team news

There are doubts surrounding Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk, although the latter is likely to play. Alisson, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa and Diogo Jota will miss out due to injury.
