Serbia are guaranteed at least a play-off spot. However, the hosts also know that qualification will be secured with just a point against Bulgaria, due to their superior head-to-head record over third-placed Montenegro. The Serbs will also qualify for the European Championships for the first time since 2000 if Montenegro fail to beat Hungary – the only side to beat Serbia so far during qualifying.

Bulgaria, meanwhile having nothing to play for having not picked up a single victory in Group G, losing four and drawing three of their seven matches. They currently sit bottom, three points behind Lithuania having scored just five times so far.
