Scotland vs Finland match tip
Scotland to win and BTTS @ 3/1 by BoyleSports
Scotland ended their winless run against Gibraltar last time out, and they have an opponent they like facing on Friday. Scotland have faced Finland eight times in total, winning six and drawing two. However, they have only kept one clean sheet in their past eight games and that came against Gibraltar.
Scotland vs Finland odds
Scotland are favourites for this game, with home advantage playing its part in the odds. Finland have also lost five of their last eight games, with one of their victories coming against San Marino.
Scotland Latest Team News
This is the final chance that Steve Clarke will have to tinker with his side before Euro 2024, but he should already know his strongest XI.
However, a huge spanner has been thrown into the works after Lyndon Dyke suffered an injury, ruling him out of Euro 2024. Tommy Conway has come in to replace him in the provisional squad, with Lawrence Shankland having led the line against Gibraltar.
Finland Latest Team News
Glen Kamara had to pull out of Finland’s squad due to injury, so will not return to Scotland having previously plied his trade with Dundee and Rangers. Teemu Pukki could start, having come off the bench to score twice in Finland’s 4-2 defeat to Portugal earlier this week.
Scotland vs Finland Head to Head
These two countries have met eight times in total and four times since 1990 with Finland never coming out victorious (D2 L6). This will be the first head-to-head game since 1998 when they played out a 1-1 draw.
