Lyndon Dykes made his return from injury in pre-season but picked up another knock and will be a doubt for this game. It’s just another point in a rough summer for the striker, who was ruled out of Euro 2024 due to injury.
QPR have been busy this summer, with six new players coming into Loftus Road. Forward Zan Celar is one, from FC Lugano, and he could lead the line in Dykes’ absence.
West Brom team news
Daryl Dike remains out having been plagued by injury issues since joining West Brom. In the Baggies’ last pre-season friendly, Josh Maja started up from but Lewis Dobbin will be throwing his hat into the ring after his loan move.
Dobbin is one of seven new faces at the Hawthorns this summer, with Devante Cole another striking option.
