Nottingham Forest vs Burnley odds
Life back in the Premier League has not started well for Burnley and they currently sit second-bottom of the table. Granted, they have played two games fewer than the rest of the Premier League (with the exception of one) but there hasn’t been much to write home about. It was a tough start to the campaign at home to Manchester City and Burnley were rolled over in the 3-0 defeat, sitting out the next week as their game against Luton was postponed. The Clarets returned to action with a defeat to Aston Villa and last time out they were beaten 5-2 by Tottenham, handing them the worst defence of the Premier League. Burnley did manage a win in the EFL Cup though, against Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest’s fixture list on their second season back in the top-flight was not kind to them, facing three of the so-called Big Six in their opening four matches. The Reds opened the season with a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal but got a win under their belts in their very next match, beating Sheffield United 2-1. Forest then raced to a 2-0 lead over Manchester United early on only to fall 3-2 at Old Trafford. Chelsea were up before the international break and Nottingham Forest left Stamford Bridge with all three points, ending their poor run of form on the road.

Danilo suffered an injury at Chelsea and is yet to return to training, so isn’t expected to feature here. Wayne Hennessey could return in goal, giving Steve Cooper as decision to make. As well as Hennessey, Cooper also has Matt Turner and new boy Odysseas Vlachodimos to choose from, a good dilemma to have. Deadline Day signings Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ibrahim Sangare, Nicolas Dominguez and Andrew Omobamidele will all be hoping to make their debuts.
