Nigeria vs Cameroon odds
After a disappointing 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea in their opening match, Nigeria saw out the group stages with back-to-back victories over the Ivory Coast and Guinea-Bissau to reach the knockout rounds. That said, the three-time Afcon champions only managed those victories by 1-0 scorelines, with the goals coming via a penalty and an own goal, so they still have a lot to do if they’re going to convince supporters they’re a genuine prospect for success.
As for Cameroon, they scraped through the groups with their first win of the tournament on matchday three, coming from 2-1 down to beat Gambia at the death. Prior to that, the five-time winners drew 1-1 with Guinea and lost 3-1 to defending champions Senegal. Like Nigeria, Cameroon are an Afcon giant with plenty to prove.
