Man Utd Women vs Man City Women odds
With men’s football on an international break, Old Trafford becomes the home of the Women’s Super League this weekend in what promises to be the biggest Manchester derby yet. Man Utd go into the game third in the WSL as one of just two teams still left unbeaten in England’s top flight. However, their unbeaten run after six games has seen Man Utd win three and draw three. The Red Devils opened the season with a late comeback against Aston Villa before drawing against Arsenal and Leicester — surrounding their Women’s Champions League exit. Man Utd have since beaten Everton and West Ham 5-0, either side of a draw with Brighton.
Man City, meanwhile, could not be in worse form. Gareth Taylor’s side started the season with 10 points from their opening four games, beating West Ham, Bristol City and Leicester alongside a draw with Chelsea. That draw with Chelsea, of course, saw Man City go down to nine players and they only conceded a late equaliser when temporarily reduced to eight through an injury. But at the start of November Man City suffered a late defeat to Arsenal, their first in the league of the season. And last time out they fell 1-0 to Brighton, dropping Gareth Taylor’s side down to sixth in the table.
