Man Utd vs Leicester predictions, team news, odds, and betting tips
Manchester United and Leicester City go head-to-head in a Premier League clash on Sunday, November 10th, at 2pm (UK time).
United are beginning a new era after Erik ten Hag was sacked. Their first game without the Dutchman was actually a 5-2 win over Leicester in the EFL Cup under Ruud van Nistelrooy, whose interim spell in charge will be nicely bookended by another game against the Foxes the day before Ruben Amorim takes over. Manchester United fans took on a new level of excitement for Amorim’s impending arrival after observing his Sporting side thrash Man City in the Champions League on Tuesday night, but the team will be keen to go into that new era in good form by beating Leicester on Sunday.
Leicester need the points as well as they look to keep their heads above water in the fight to stay in the Premier League.
Bruno Fernandes to score or assist (8/13 with Bet365)
Bruno Fernandes has four goals and four assists to his name in nine career appearances against Leicester, including scoring against them twice in United’s recent 5-2 EFL Cup win over the Foxes.
Fernandes has remained a bright spark for United despite their struggles this season, leading the way with 5.7 non-penalty xG + xA in the Manchester United squad.
Man Utd 3-1 Leicester (11/1 with William Hill)
Man Utd have won their last three games against Leicester across all competitions, averaging three goals per game along the way. However, Man Utd have also conceded in all of their home matches aside from opening day against Fulham, where they still conceded 10 shots, so keeping a clean sheet seems unlikely again here.
The cup matches have shown that Man Utd do have goals in the team, and Ruud van Nistelrooy did promise attacking football in his short caretaker spell, so all of the ingredients are there for a high scoring encounter.
