How both teams go into Man Utd vs Fulham
Despite their woes, Man Utd have done well in the FA Cup so far, seeing off two Premier League teams. First, they knocked out old rivals Arsenal 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium, even initially taking the lead in normal time through Bruno Fernandes before the Gunners pegged them back. Then, they came from behind to see off old interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester City side 2-1, with Harry Maguire netting a dramatic 93rd-minute equaliser.
Fulham’s path to the fifth round has been a little more straightforward, first thrashing Watford 4-1 at home before beating Wigan Athletic 2-1 away — although the latter did see Wigan draw level five minutes after half-time, before the Cottagers restored their lead just another five minutes later. Rodrigo Muniz has been their go-to man in this competition, netting three goals in two matches, including a brace against the Latics.
