Man Utd vs Everton

Manchester United will look to continue their upturn in form when they host Everton in the Premier League on Sunday, December 1st, at 1:30pm (UK time).

Dominic Calvert Lewin & James Tarkowski Over 0.5 Fouls Conceded (27/25 with BetMGM)

My main selection on Sunday is a player fouls double. The first of the duo I’m backing to clear the Over 0.5 fouls committed line is Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Toffees frontman has given away at least one foul in all of his last six away matches in the Premier League, with totals of 2,1,2,1,2,2, and should have plenty of defensive duties on the cards on Sunday.

James Tarkowski is the other player involved in this double with BetMGM that pays just north of even money. You have to go back to September 14th for the last time the centre-back failed to give away at least one foul in a match. That’s a run of eight consecutive matches, and I don’t see the streak ending at Old Trafford.

Lisandro Martinez to be Carded (18/5 with BetMGM)

I also like the look of Lisandro Martinez to be carded. It has been well-documented how the number of cards being brandished in the Premier League this season has risen, and at 18/5, I think this selection looks a little overpriced.

No player has been cautioned on more occasions for United in the league this season than the Argentine, who has been booked in 50% of his outings at Old Trafford. In total, Martinez has four yellows in ten starts this term and I fancy him do have a good battle with Dominic Calvert-Lewin which could lead to a card.

How both teams go into Man Utd vs Everton

After winning just one of their last eight matches under Erik ten Hag, Manchester United managed three wins and a draw from their four matches under interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy. Ruben Amorim is now the man in charge of changing fortunes at Old Trafford and he started with a point on the road at Ipswich last week, before securing his first win after a 3-2 victory over Bodo Glimt on Thursday.

Everton are on a run of just one defeat in their last eight Premier League matches and even though only two of them have resulted in victory, the points they’ve ground out have dragged them off the foot of the table and into 15th, but just seven points off the top half and 11 points adrift of third. The Toffees hosted Brentford last time out with the game finishing goalless at Goodison.
