Man Utd vs Crystal Palace odds
Man Utd went into their last home game against Brighton unbeaten in 20 matches at Old Trafford in the Premier League, since the Seagulls beat them at the start of last season. Another defeat means that the Red Devils now have to start again, looking to make Old Trafford a fortress once more. It wasn’t just a league unbeaten streak that Brighton ended, Man Utd were also unbeaten at home across all competitions in 31 games. The defeat to Brighton also condemned Man Utd to a historically bad Premier League start, losing three of their opening five matches for the first time, so form needs to be re-found.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, only sit one point behind of Man Utd, having won two of their opening six Premier League matches — and they may feel aggrieved that they don’t have more points. The Eagles marked the return from the international break with a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park, but fans were not happy with the refereeing display in the loss. However, the Eagles still conceded three late goals having been 1-0 up, with Jhon Duran equalising in the 87th minute and two more coming in the eighth and 11th minute of injury time.
The Red Devils made light work of Palace in the League Cup in midweek, with goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial giving them a comfortable 3-0 win at Old Trafford and will be hoping for more of the same, this time in the league. However, Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is unbeaten in his last four trips to Old Trafford in the Premier League (W2 D2) and a win or a draw here would see him become the first away manager in Premier League history to go five games unbeaten at Old Trafford.

Man Utd vs Crystal Palace match tip
Bruno Fernandes to score anytime @ 12/5 with Bet 365
If you look at it as a whole, Bruno Fernandes doesn’t have a great record against Crystal Palace, scoring two goals in seven Premier League matches. However, both of those goals came last season, with the Portuguese midfielder starting to find form. He netted the opening goal in the 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park, before also starting the scoring in the 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
His winning goal against Burnley, last time out was his 80th Premier League goal involvement, the fourth-most of any player since his debut. It was the 25th time he’d either scored (16) or assisted (9) a winning goal, behind only Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane (31 each) since February 2020.
Man Utd vs Crystal Palace Bet-Builder tip
BTTS > Man Utd to win > Over 6.5 Man Utd corners
Man Utd will feel confident in getting a victory over Crystal Palace, given the Eagles’ poor form on the road this year. Since the start of 2023, Crystal Palace have won just 12 away points in the Premier League from 14 matches. Man Utd are also averaging high for corners this season with only Arsenal (9.4) having more than the Red Devils’ 7.2 per match. However, Man Utd’s defence has been leaky this season and they haven’t kept a clean sheet in their past four Premier League matches.
Crystal Palace have taken 12 points from 14 away league games in 2023.
Man Utd have conceded in their past four Premier League matches.
Man Utd are averaging 7.2 corners won per match in the Premier League this season.

Mason Mount | Jadon Sancho, Amad Traore, Tom Heaton, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Tyrell Malacia, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Antony | Scott McTominay, Sergio Reguilon, Christian Eriksen |
Erik ten Hag will be without a least eight players for the visit of Crystal Palace, including defenders Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia and forwards Jadon Sancho and Antony. Mason Mount returned in midweek, but it is unclear whether two games in four days would be too much for the midfielder, while Scott McTominay, Sergio Reguilon and Christian Eriksen will have to be assessed after recent illness.
Sofyan Amrabat is in line to make his full Premier League debut.

Michael Olise, Matheus Franca, Jefferson Lerma and James Tomkins are all tipped to return at various points in October, but this game is far too soon. Dean Henderson limped off at Old Trafford in midweek, so will miss out on playing his former side once more, so Sam Johnstone should return in goal.
Odsonne Edouard has also been ruled out, which is a huge miss for the away side, with the Frenchman scoring four goals in his last four games. Jean-Philippe Mateta is expected to deputise.
