Man Utd vs Chelsea match tip
There are so many different factors behind Chelsea’s poor start to the season. One has been the Blues’ slow starts. While Chelsea are yet to trail at half-time this season, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have also been level going into the break in 10 of their 14 Premier League matches. Man Utd, meanwhile, have been level at half-time in seven of their 14 league games.
Man Utd vs Chelsea Bet-Builder tip
Chelsea travel to Old Trafford in terrible form at the Theatre of Dreams. The Blues haven’t beaten Man Utd away from home since 2013, when Juan Mata scored the only goal in a 1-0 win under Rafa Benitez. Last season it was a 4-1 victory for Man Utd, which continued a run of four games now in which both teams have found the net in this fixture. Chelsea do, however, lead the way in the Premier League for cards. The Blues have been shown more cards than any other team in the Premier League this season, receiving 47 yellows and three reds — with two sendings off in their past two matches, both handed to their captain.
Both teams have found the net in each of the past four meetings between Man Utd and Chelsea.

Chelsea have been shown more cards than any other team in the Premier League this season, receiving 47 yellows and three reds.
Man Utd vs Chelsea odds
*Odds correct as of 07:00 on December 6
Man Utd were in decent form, stringing together a run of three wins either side of the international break. Erik ten Hag’s men have been under extreme pressure this season, with performances and results not really befitting a club of Man Utd’s stature. However, the Red Devils are now up to seventh, just five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa. After alarm bells rang following a 3-0 home defeat to Manchester City, Man Utd have beaten Fulham, Luton and Everton, the latter a 3-0 victory following the international break. That run was brought to an abrupt end, however, with a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle, which has the club in disarray once more.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are struggling to find a consistent run of results despite some positive performances. The Blues have won just two of their last six Premier League matches, beating Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in that bizarre game at the start of November, before winning 3-2 against Brighton at the weekend. They have also drawn against Arsenal and Manchester City, putting in good performances against both, though they did lose a 2-0 lead against the former. However, they have lost to Brentford and suffered a 4-1 humbling at the hands of a depleted Newcastle.

Mason Mount faces an outside chance of meeting his former club this week, though it is slim. Guaranteed to miss this game are Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, Amad Diallo and Tyrell Malacia. Reece James and Marc Cucurella will be available after suspension for a red card and yellow card accumulation respectively. However, Conor Gallagher will miss out after his sending off against Brighton. Chelsea will also hope to have Christopher Nkunku involved in some aspect, but it is expected to be too soon for Romeo Lavia and Ben Chilwell.
