How both teams go into Man United vs Rangers

Ruben Amorim has turned things around in the Europa League at Old Trafford. While things aren’t going well domestically, Man United are in a good position in the Europa League. After drawing their opening three games in the competition, the Red Devils have won their past three — two coming under Amorim. It’s a run that has Man United up to seventh in the league phase, occupying one of the automatic last 16 places.

Man United sit one point and one place above Rangers, who will be hoping to hold into the final automatic qualification spot. The Scottish side have won three of their six Europa League games so far, losing once to fourth-placed Lyon. That was in their second game, though, and Rangers have won two and drawn two of their next four matches, including a draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

Man United team news

Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are expected to still be out by the time this game comes around.

Rangers team news

Neraysho Kasanwirjo is still out for Rangers. They’ll be hoping for better news surrounding Jack Butland, James Tavernier, Jack Souttar and Tom Lawrence.
