Man City vs Nottingham Forest odds
Defending Premier League champions are chasing what would be a history fourth English top-flight title in a row, something that has never been done before in men’s football. And it’s been a perfect start to the title defence. Man City have won all of their five opening Premier League games so far, beating Burnley, Newcastle, Sheffield United, Fulham and West Ham. They are looking to win their first six games of a Premier League season for the second time, also doing so in 2016/17. The only previous time a defending champion have won their opening six games came in 2005/06, with Chelsea did so en route to retaining their crown. Man City have also beaten Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup and Crvena zvezda in their Champions League opener.
But now, in Pep Guardiola’s words, it’s a team that have won the Champions League more times than Man City. Two-time European champions Nottingham Forest will be hoping their second Premier League campaign back is easier than their first. And it’s been a decent start. After five games played, Forest are seventh with two wins and a draw from their opening five matches. They opened a narrow defeat to last season’s runners-up before beating Sheffield United. There was another defeat to Manchester United, but Forest then ended a long wait for an away win, beating Chelsea and Stamford Bridge. Forest stretched their unbeaten run to two games with a draw against Burnley on Monday.

Man City vs Nottingham Forest match tip
Erling Haaland to score 2+ @ 7/4 with Sky Bet
Prior to Man City’s win over Fulham before the international break, Erling Haaland had gone three games at the Etihad without scoring. However, he bounced back with a hat-trick, his fifth in the Premier League. All five of Haaland’s Premier League hat-tricks have come at home too, with his total Premier League tally now at 43 goals in 40 games.
Man City vs Nottingham Forest Bet-Builder tip
Over 3.5 goals, Erling Haaland to score anytime & BTTS
When these sides met at the Etihad last season, Erling Haaland scored a first-half hat-trick to kick things off in a 6-0 win win for Man City. However, Nottingham Forest will fancy themselves to breach the Man City net this time. Forest have scored in all five of their Premier League games so far this season and in each of their past 12 in the competition. Man City have also been pretty leaky at the back, conceding in six of their eight matches across all competitions.
