Man City vs Liverpool odds
As we return from the November international break, there’s a bit of a familiar feel at the top of the Premier League table. Having dropped slightly following consecutive defeats, Man City are back on top with 10 points from their past four games. The defending champions beat Brighton, Manchester United and Bournemouth and only saw their winning run come to an end in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Chelsea. Although they led that game three times only to be pegged back, including via an injury-time penalty from former player Cole Palmer, the result moved Man City one point clear at the top of the table.
Before that game kicked off, Liverpool had drawn level on points with Man City (and Arsenal) as they extended an unbeaten run of their own. The Reds have only lost one league game this season, beaten 2-1 by Tottenham at the end of September. Since then, Liverpool have won three and drawn two of their last five games, only dropping points against Brighton and Luton. The Reds have beaten Everton, Nottingham Forest and Brentford, scoring eight goals without reply. It’s a really positive run for Liverpool, who are showing that last season was just a blip. And they’ll be hoping the international break didn’t stop their momentum.

Man City to win, BTTS, Over 1.5 Erling Haaland shots on target, Over 0.5 Mohamed Salah shots on target
Erling Haaland is yet to score against Liverpool for Man City, with the Reds joining Brentford as one of just two sides he has failed to find the net against — having made Chelsea the 19th team. But, the Norwegian is still the most ferocious striker in the Premier League with 13 goals from 27 shots on target. No player is near Haaland for shots on target, but sitting second is Mohamed Salah on 17. Man City will also be hoping to keep their winning run at the Etihad across all competitions going, now with 23 consecutive victories. However, there have been just two clean sheets in the past 10 games between these two sides.

Erling Haaland suffered an injury while on international duty with Norway but Man City are almost certain to have their star striker available for the visit of Liverpool. Nathan Ake could also be involved, but John Stones, Kevin De Bruyne, Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes are all out.
