Man City vs Everton Odds
How both teams go into Man City vs Everton
The slump has continued for Manchester City, who lost 2-1 to Aston Villa last time out. Pep Guardiola’s men have won one of their last 12 matches across all competitions at the time of writing and now trail Premier League leaders Liverpool by twelve points with one game extra played.
Everton, meanwhile, are going steady and keeping the relegation zone at arm’s length. The Toffees are still struggling for goals, failing to net in five of their last six matches. However, they’ve kept four clean sheets during that time as well, while also thrashing Wolves 4-0. Their last match saw them take a great 0-0 draw away from Chelsea.
Man City team news
Rodri is out for the season, while Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Oscar Bobb are both sidelined until January. Guardiola will hope to have Manuel Akanji back in action for this match.
Everton team news
James Garner, Tim Iroegbunam and Youssef Chermiti are also closing in on returns to action but won’t be back in time for this clash.
Man City vs Everton head-to-head
Man City have won 14 and drawn two of their last 16 matches against Everton across all competitions, although the Toffees will read little into that given the poor current form of the defending champions. In fact, they’ll see it as their best chance to get a result at the Etihad in a long time.
