Liverpool vs Everton Odds

How both teams go into Liverpool vs Everton

It won’t be too long before Liverpool lift a record-equalling 20th top flight title. And they’ll be hoping to get it sealed sooner rather than later. Arne Slot’s side have been the best team in the Premier League this season by some distance, winning 21 of their 29 games so far. They’ve only lost once, and have looked unstoppable since. The Reds went into the March international break with three consecutive wins and four from their past six. But one of the two draws in that run did come against Everton, in a dramatic Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Everton will once again be looking to be a roadblock in Liverpool’s title procession. The Toffees are 15th, but don’t look likely to be dragged into the relegation battle now. Everton are 17 points clear of the bottom three, so will focus on climbing up the table. They’re now unbeaten in their past nine Premier League games under David Moyes, winning four and drawing five. Everton go into this game off the back of four-straight league draws.

Liverpool team news

Ryan Gravenberch left the Netherlands’ squad due to injury, so will be monitored ahead of this game. Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be back from injury in time, but Conor Bradley could return. Joe Gomez is definitely out and there are doubts over Alisson.

Everton team news

Orel Mangala is a long-term injury, but Everton will be hoping for better news surrounding Dwight McNeil, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Iliman Ndiaye over the international break, although it’s unlikely any will feature.

Liverpool vs Everton head-to-head

Everton are unbeaten in their past two games against Liverpool, after losing four of their previous five. But the Toffees are winless in their past three trips to Anfield, failing to score in all three games.
