Leicester vs Wolves prediction, odds, tips & team news
Leicester vs Wolves
It will be a battle near the bottom of the Premier League when Leicester City host Wolves at the King Power Stadium on Sunday 22nd December at 2pm. Wolves sit in the relegation zone after 16 games, five points from safety. Leicester are just outside the bottom three, two points clear of the drop.
Jamie Vardy to score anytime (9/5 with BetMGM)
Vardy has been in strong form at home recently, finding the net in three of his last four matches, including the last two in a row. With Wolves’ defence looking vulnerable, the Leicester striker is poised to make life difficult for them this Sunday.
The Premier League winner has a solid record of three goals in his last five encounters with Wolves, and at 9/5 he makes appeal to find the net against a Wolves side who have conceded at least two goals in all of their last four.
Boubakary Soumare to be Carded (3/1 with BetMGM)
Leicester’s Boubakary Soumare returns on Sunday after serving a suspension for collecting five yellow cards. The midfielder has only started nine league games this term and has been booked in five of those. Notably, all five of those yellow cards have arrived at the King Power this season, and at 3/1 he’s a fair price for another just before Christmas.

How both teams go into Leicester vs Wolves
As we edge closer to Christmas, the Premier League’s relegation battle may start to take shape. At the moment, Wolves look like they’re going to be in the heart of it. Wolves have won just two of their opening 16 games, coming in back-to-back matches against Southampton and Fulham. But since that mini run, Wolves have lost their last four. Since then they have parted company with Gary O’Neil and have drafted in Vitor Pereira to steady the ship.
Leicester’s start to the season saw Steve Cooper sacked, and things have turned around under Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Dutchman managed four points from his first two games against West Ham and and Brighton, but he was brought back down to earth with a damning 4-0 defeat on the road at Newcastle last weekend.
Leicester team news
Boubakary Soumare is back from suspension, but Ricardo Pereira looks set to miss out. Leicester will be hoping for positive news surrounding Wilfred Ndidi after picking up a slight hamstring problem. Abdul Fatawu is out for the season.
Wolves team news
Joao Gomes will be back for Wolves following suspension, while Jose Sa could also return after injury. But this game will be too soon for Boubacar Traore and Sasa Kaladjzic. Enso Gonzalez and Yerson Mosquera are both out for the season.
Leicester vs Wolves head-to-head
Leicester did the double over Wolves when they were last in the Premier League. In fact, Wolves have only won one of their last eight games against the Foxes. And they haven’t won at the King Power since 2007.
