How both teams go into Leicester vs Fulham
The early feelgood factor around Ruud van Nistelrooy has faded and now, the Dutchman needs to work quickly to turn things around. Leicester have lost their last five Premier League matches with 14 goals conceded and just two scored, slumping to 19th in the Premier League, two points from safety. The Foxes have an FA Cup tie against QPR and a Premier League clash with Crystal Palace — both at home — before this match and they’ll hope to end their wretched run and inspire some confidence.
Fulham, meanwhile, are on the Premier League’s most bizarre run. The Cottagers have lost just one of their last 12 matches across all competitions at the time of writing, but have only managed four wins during that time, drawing seven times. Even so, that’s been enough to see Marco Silva’s men to ninth in the table, just six points adrift of the Champions League places. Fulham host Watford in the FA Cup and travel to West Ham in the Premier League before this one.
Leicester team news
Abdul Fatawu is out long-term, while Ricardo Pereira won’t return from a hamstring injury until March. However, the Foxes could welcome back Kasey McAteer, Mads Hermansen, Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Kristiansen for this match.
Fulham team news
Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson are both out until next month, but Harrison Reed and Sander Berge should be back in action for this match, if not before.
Leicester vs Fulham head-to-head
Fulham have won their last three meetings with Leicester and four of their last five.
