Las Palmas vs Real Madrid La Liga prediction: Can Mbappe break his league duck?
At the second time of asking, defending La Liga champions Real Madrid recorded their first win of the new campaign.
Los Blancos head to Las Palmas on Matchday Three having secured four points from six available, while their hosts are winless from two outings.

Las Palmas 0-3 Real Madrid (9/1 with Midnite)
Real Madrid have not lost any of their last four away games against Las Palmas in La Liga (three wins and one draw), winning the last two. Indeed, Los Blancos could equal their best away winning streak against them in the competition (three wins between 1986 and 2001).

There have been at least three goals in the last five games between Las Palmas and Real Madrid at Estadio Gran Canaria.
How both teams go into Las Palmas vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid started their league title defence with a frustrating 1-1 away draw against Mallorca. However, they bounced back with a strong second-half performance to secure a 3-0 home win over newly-promoted Real Valladolid.
Federico Valverde and Brahim Diaz each scored a goal, and 18-year-old Endrick came off the bench to add a third goal. This made Endrick the youngest Real Madrid player to score on his La Liga debut in the 21st century. With this victory, Carlo Ancelotti’s team has now gone 34 top-flight matches without a defeat since losing to city rivals Atletico Madrid in September 2023.
Las Palmas is under new management this season, with Luis Carrion taking over from Garcia Pimienta. However, life in charge hasn’t begun well for Carrion, as his team has only earned one point from their first two matches. They drew 2-2 in their first home game and then suffered a 2-1 loss in Sunday’s away match against Leganes, extending their winless run in La Liga to 16 matches.
Las Palmas host Real Madrid at Estadio Gran Canaria on Thursday at 8:30pm.
Las Palmas latest team news
The hosts will be without Adnan Januzaj and Pejino, who are both sidelined with muscle injuries. Fabio Gonzalez’s availability for Thursday’s game is uncertain as he has been dealing with an ankle issue. Despite scoring in the first two matches of the season, Sandro Ramirez might start the game on the bench.
Real Madrid latest team news
Real Madrid will be without Jude Bellingham for a second consecutive game due to a muscle injury in his right leg. This injury will keep him out until after the international break. David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga are also in the treatment room, and Jesús Vallejo is uncertain due to a fitness issue. Ferland Mendy, who was serving a one-match suspension, is expected to replace Fran García on the left side of the defence. In addition, coach Ancelotti will likely make further changes to the team, with Lucas Vázquez, Luka Modrić, and Brahim all under consideration to start at Estadio Gran Canaria.
Las Palmas vs Real Madrid head-to-head
