Ipswich vs Fulham odds
The 2023/24 EFL Cup resumes this week, with the final 16 teams continuing their journey to Wembley. Six of those 16 teams come from outside the Premier League, with Ipswich one of three representing the Championship. The Tractor Boys haven’t made it this far in the EFL Cup since 2010/11 when they reached the semi-finals, with eight first-round exits since. Entering in the first round, Ipswich were drawn against League One side Bristol City, winning 2-0. They then needed penalties to beat Reading in the second round, but last time out they beat Premier League opposition, securing a 3-2 win over Wolves having come from behind.
Fulham, meanwhile, are in the fourth round for the first time in three years, having been knocked out in the second round last season and third round the year before. Not being involved in European competitions, Fulham were one of 12 Premier League clubs entering in the second round and they knocked out London rivals Tottenham on penalties. Their result was a third-round tie against Championship side Norwich, with Fulham winning 2-1.

Ipswich vs Fulham match tip
Of course, in cup competitions there has to be a winner, but that doesn’t mean it will come in 90 minutes. In the EFL Cup, there is no extra time, with the game going straight to penalties if it is level after 90 minutes. And it is very possible that this game could go all the way. Both sides have already needed penalties this season to advance in the EFL Cup, with Ipswich also losing just one of their 14 games this season.
