Inter Milan vs Arsenal prediction, odds, tips & team news
Both Inter Milan and Arsenal will be looking to cement top eight claims in the Champions League table when they face off in the San Siro on Wednesday 6th November.
It is Inter who currently reside in the top eight after three matchdays, with seven points from a possible nine. This means that, as things stand, the Italian champions would progress directly into the knockout phase of the competition.
Arsenal are also on seven points, but sit ninth in the table due to an inferior goal difference to Inter and Sporting, who sit in eighth. However, Arsenal have every reason to be happy with their progress at this stage, having beaten PSG and not yet conceded a goal in the Champions League this season.
Under 2.5 goals (8/11 with Betfair)
All three of Arsenal’s Champions League matches have gone under 2.5 goals so far. Indeed, the sum total of goals in Arsenal’s Champions League matches so far is three goals. Arteta has a secure, defence first mentality in the competition at the moment.
Inter have also had two out of three of their matches end under 2.5 goals, with only a comfortable home victory over Crvena zvzeda went over this line.
Inter 0-0 Arsenal Correct Score (17/2 with Sky Bet)
This could be a very cagey game in which both teams would be fairly happy with a point as it will keep both in contention for a top eight position. Certainly the longer the match remains goalless, the more the idea will enter the heads of the coaches and players to consider that the result probably suits both teams fine.
Arsenal have already had a 0-0 in Italy this season after producing a stalemate with Atalanta. Inter drew 0-0 with Manchester City on Matchday 1 as well, which is a result which affords them some leeway in this competition at this stage. With a low goal expectation here it was fairly surprising to see this as big a price as it is.

How to watch Inter Milan vs Arsenal live
Inter Milan vs Arsenal is scheduled for 8pm (UK time) on Wednesday 6th November and will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1.
How both teams go into Inter Milan vs Arsenal
Inter and Arsenal have identical results in the Champions League after three matchdays, only Inter’s better goal difference has them above Arsenal at this stage.
Inter had a tough start to the league phase, traveling to the Etihad to face Manchester City. But Simone Inzaghi’s left the home of the English champions with a hard-fought goalless draw. They then beat Red Star Belgrade 4-0, putting on a classy showing at the San Siro against the Serbian champions, and this was then followed up by another victory, this time a last gasp victory in Switzerland against Young Boys.
Arsenal were also away in their opening game, traveling to Italy to face Atalanta. Like Inter, Arsenal fought hard for their goalless draw. The Gunners also won their second game at home, beating Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 at the Emirates in something of a statement victory. A narrow 1-0 triumph at home to Shakhtar Donetsk followed that, to leave Arsenal sitting ninth in the current table.
Domestically, Inter are in good form, currently one point off the top, and unbeaten in six since an upset in the Milan derby on 22nd September.
Criticism has come Arsenal’s way in recent weeks as they have won only one point from their last three Premier League games. The defeats to Bournemouth and Newcastle, with a draw at home to Liverpool in between could have also taken their toll on the players used.

Inter Milan team news
Inter are looking quite healthy at the moment. Carlos Augusto is out with a hamstring injury, but other than that, Simone Inzaghi is playing with a full deck.
Expected line-up: Sommer; Pavard, de Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Zielinski, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Martinez
Arsenal team news
Arsenal are struggling with some injuries. Martin Odegaard is proving to be a big miss, as they are struggling to create open play chances without the Norwegian midfielder. William Saliba and Gabriel returned against Newcastle, but aren’t at 100%, and the full back positions haven’t been consistent, with Ben White, Jurrien Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori all missing at different times. Calafiori will be unavailable for a while following his injury.
Expected line-up: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Partey, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli; Havertz

These two sides have met just twice before. In the 2002-03 Champions League group stage, Inter Milan beat Arsenal 3-0 at Highbury. But the Gunners returned the favour with a famous 5-1 win at the San Siro.
