Crystal Palace went into the first international break of the season feeling positive about their start to the new campaign. With Roy Hodgson permanently at the helm, the Eagles won two of their opening four matches, drawing one and losing the other. After beating Sheffield United on the opening weekend, Crystal Palace suffered defeat at home to Arsenal. They bounced back with a draw against Brentford and win over Wolves. However, after the international break, Crystal Palace fell to a 3-1 defeat against Aston Villa, conceding two goals deep into second-half stoppage time including one from the penalty spot.

Fulham, meanwhile, seem to be getting all of their London derbies out of the way early on. The trip to Selhurst Park is Fulham’s third game against a fellow London club in their opening six games — fourth in seven if you include the EFL Cup. But it hasn’t been a happy start. Despite opening the season with a win against Everton, Fulham went three without victory, losing to Brentford and Manchester City either side of a draw against Arsenal. They did, however, return from the international break with a win, beating Luton who are still searching for their first point.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham match tip

Draw & BTTS @ 37/10 with Midnite

Although Fulham did knock Tottenham out of the EFL Cup, that came on penalties, so their record for London derbies this season reads three games, no wins. Things aren’t any better for Crystal Palace, who have failed to beat Brentford and Arsenal (who Fulham also struggled against). However, both Fulham and Crystal Palace have found the net in three of their four Premier League games so far this season.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham Bet-Builder tip

Under 10 corners, BTTS & Odsonne Edouard to score anytime

Neither Crystal Palace nor Fulham have had much action when it comes to corners this season. Crystal Palace have won just 18 corners, with only one having fewer in the Premier League  so far. Fulham, meanwhile, aren’t doing much better with just 23 corners won – six of those coming against Luton last time out. A positive for Crystal Palace has been Odsonne Edouard, though, with the Frenchman on four Premier League goals for the campaign. No Crystal Palace player has had a better start to the season for goals, with Wilfried Zaha also netting four in five in 2020/21 and 2022/23.
