*Odds correct as of 18:30 on February 2

As we enter the 23rd round of Premier League fixtures, Everton is in the relegation zone. The Toffees are on a poor run of form right now, winless in their last five Premier League games. It’s a stark contrast to their previous 12 games, which saw them lose just three times while also beating the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle and West Ham. Since a 2-0 win over Burnley, the Toffees have lost to Tottenham, Manchester City and Wolves before a pair of goalless draws against Aston Villa and Fulham. Of course, over the season, they have accrued enough points to sit 12th in the table but are paying the price for their 10-point deduction.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have lifted themselves back into the top four thanks to a run of two wins from their past three games. Things had started so brightly for Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham led the Premier League table before their form nosedived, dropping them well out of the title race. However, after a 4-2 defeat to Brighton, Tottenham is in decent form and has capitalised on Aston Villa’s poor run. After beating Bournemouth and drawing with Manchester United, Tottenham eked out a 3-2 victory over Brentford in midweek (coming from behind) to jump into the top four on goals scored.
