Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth match tip

3+ Dominic Solanke shots @ 8/11 with Sky Bet

Dominic Solanke is Bournemouth’s top scorer in the Premier League with seven goals this season and it’s not hard to see why. The Englishman has taken 41 shots in the Premier League so far, with only two players having more attempts — Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez. Solanke is averaging 2.95 shots per 90 minutes, while hitting the target 15 times in total.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth Bet-Builder tip

BTTS, Under 10.5 corners & Double Chance: Bournemouth/Draw

Crystal Palace haven’t conceded against Bournemouth in their past five meetings, but they don’t look like keeping a clean sheet this time around. The Eagles have conceded in five of their past six league games, while Bournemouth have scored in six in a row. However, don’t expect this game to have a high corner count. Crystal Palace are averaging just 4.64 corners per game in the Premier League this season, while Bournemouth aren’t much higher on 5.14, both sitting in the bottom 10 for that particular metric. Form should also favour Bournemouth, with three wins from their past five compared to Crystal Palace’s four defeats from six.

These two sides are on differing runs right now and moving in different directions on the table. Crystal Palace are in danger of slipping closer to the relegation zone with four defeats from their last six games. The Eagles returned from the international break with a 2-1 defeat to Luton Town, having lost to Everton before. There were also defeats to Newcastle and Tottenham, though they are more understandable, with the only victory a 2-0 win over basement club Burnley. Last time out, Palace did end a two-game losing streak with their 1-1 draw with West Ham, keeping them 12th.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, have opened up a six-point gap over the relegation zone. Having failed to win any of their opening nine Premier League games of the season, Bournemouth have now won three of their last five, only faltering in a 6-1 defeat to Manchester City and draw with Aston Villa. The defeat could be excused, though the scoreline was a bitter pill to swallow. Nonetheless, victories over Burnley, Newcastle and Sheffield United, as well as the current three-game unbeaten run, have boosted the Cherries and even now they may be looking up the table rather than over their shoulders.
