Bristol City vs West Ham United FA Cup predictions: Tips, odds and team news
Bristol City and West Ham meet at Ashton Gate in their FA Cup third-round replay on Tuesday at 7:45pm (UK time).
Bristol City vs West Ham odds
Bristol City have had a mixed start to this season, currently sitting 14th in the Championship with 36 points. They enjoyed three straight wins over the Christmas period against former Premier League trio Sunderland, Hull City and Watford before a draw against struggling Birmingham and a defeat to Millwall slightly ruined the mood going into the first clash with West Ham. And following that impressive draw, they only managed a 2-0 defeat to Preston as well. They made it to the fifth round last season, seeing off Swansea and West Brom before a 3-0 defeat to eventual winners Manchester City saw them exit the competition.
After their 5-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the EFL Cup quarter-finals, West Ham will be hoping to make up for it by going far in the FA Cup. They have been knocked out in the fifth round in each of the previous three seasons, all by Premier League opposition, and with just two defeats from their last 14 across all competitions, will be hoping to reach that stage at least this time around. They haven’t been knocked out by lower league opposition in round three since a shock 5-0 defeat at the hands of then-Championship side Nottingham Forest in 2014.

Bristol City vs West Ham match tip
West Ham to win to nil @ 21/10 with Bet UK
The Hammers are on a good run of form, winning nine of their last 14 games across all competitions. What’s more, they haven’t gone more than two games without a win across all competitions since October, so back-to-back draws against Brighton and Bristol may point to a win here. Bristol City, meanwhile, are enduring a four-match winless run during which they’ve scored just one goal.
