Both Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers will be hoping to improve on their unimpressive starts to the 2024-25 Premier League season when they meet this weekend.

How to watch Brentford vs Wolves live

Brentford vs Wolves is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 5th October but will not be broadcast live in the UK.

How both teams go into Brentford vs Wolves

Brentford have been an interesting team to follow over the past year or so. After an impressive start to life in the Premier League, the Bees appear to be fading into mid-table obscurity. And it has carried over to this season so far.

Thomas Frank’s men have had to deal with a lot of injury problems, though, unable to name a set XI for an extended period. After winning two of their opening three games against Crystal Palace and Southampton, Brentford have now gone three games without a win. But it’s also worth noting their three league defeats have come against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

Wolves have also paid the price for an unfortunate fixture list. With the benefit of having a pre-season under Gary O’Neil many had hoped this would be the campaign for Wolves to grow. But after six games they’ve managed just one draw alongside four defeats.

But Wolves have had to face Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Liverpool so far, alongside their draw with Nottingham Forest.

Brentford host Wolves at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday 5th October at 3pm.

    Brentford team news

Brentford will be without Mathias Jensen and Rico Henry for this game but Christian Norgaard may return. But the Bees remain without Yoane Wissa, Igor Thiago, Aaron Hickey, Josh Dasilva and Gustavo Nunes.

    Wolves team news

Wolves are equally as troubled when it comes to injuries. The visitors are set to be without five players for their trip to London, with Yerson Mosquera, Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic, Bastien Meupiyou and Boubacar Traore all out, whilst there are doubts over Craig Dawson.

    Brentford vs Wolves head-to-head

Brentford won the most recent meeting between these two sides, securing a 2-0 win at Molineux in February. However, Wolves had won four of the previous six alongside two draws.
