Brentford’s 14 game unbeaten run in London derbies finally came to an end against Arsenal last weekend, as Kai Havertz’s 89th minute header saw the Bees lose back-to-back Premier League games for the second time this season. Before the international break, the Bees had made it three consecutive wins in the league for the first time this campaign with victories over Burnley, Chelsea and West Ham as things started to looking up after a mixed start to the season. But those two defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal have seen them drop back into the bottom half of the table.

Luton, meanwhile, recorded their first ever home win in the Premier League last time out with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Kenilworth Road to move them four points clear of the relegation zone. The Hatters have now picked up five points from their last five games after picking up just four in their opening eight, but are still struggling to keep sides out, being one of four sides yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season.
