Chelsea vs Brentford odds
After a tricky start to life as Chelsea manager for Mauricio Pochettino, things have started to pick up in recent weeks for the Argentine. Having picked up just five points from their opening six matches, Chelsea have now made it three matches without defeat, having followed up back-to-back wins against Fulham and Burnley with a 2-2 draw against London rivals Arsenal last time out. However, they will be kicking themselves for not taking home all three points, having thrown away a two goal lead, with late goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard earning the Gunners a point at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have now won more points (7) and scored more goals (8) in their last three Premier League games than they did in their previous nine beforehand (6 points, 7 goals).
Brentford, meanwhile, finally put three points on the board with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Burnley last weekend as they ended their six game run without a win (D3, L3). It was just their second victory for Brentford this season, having won their second match of the camapign against Fulham, but the story of the season for Brentford so far has been draws, with four to date, including against Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
The Bees are unbeaten in their last 12 Premier League London derby matches (W6 D6), their longest run without defeat against fellow London sides in their league history. Away from home they’ve won their last three such games, never winning four in a row on the road before.

Chelsea vs Brentford match tip
Double Chance: Draw or Brentford @ 3/1
Regardless of form, Brentford will fancy their chances making the short trip across west London to Stamford Bridge. The Bees are now unbeaten in their past three matches against Chelsea, including two wins at Stamford Bridge. There was the 4-1 thrashing of Thomas Tuchel’s side in 2021/22 and a 2-0 victory against Frank Lampard’s men last season.
Since the start of February, Chelsea have won fewer home games than any other ever present Premier League side (2), with only Bournemouth (12) earning fewer home points in that time than the Blues (13). Chelsea’s two victories in that run were against eventually relegated Leeds in March, and against newly promoted Luton in August.

BTTS> Chelsea Team With Most Booking Points > Brentford Team With Most Corners
Chelsea may have gone three games without scoring against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Aston Villa, but they found their shooting boots either side of the international break. The Blues netted twice against Fulham and then put four past Burnley, before scoring twice against Arsenal. But Chelsea do have some disciplinary problems, with only Wolves (31) being shown more yellow cards than their 29 this season. Brentford slightly edge the corner battle with 46 to 44.

Chelsea have had some good luck of late with players returning from injuries, but they do still have a number of players out including vice captain Ben Chilwell and summer signings Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia — both yet to make their debuts. Captain Reece James made his long awaited return against Arsenal last weekend from the bench and will be hoping to make the starting XI this time around.

Aaron Hickey is available after serving a suspension against Burnley, but the Bees remain without a host of players including Rico Henry. Neal Maupay assisted on his first Premier League start for the club and will be hoping to keep his place in the side alongside Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo in attack.
