Brentford vs Arsenal odds
Heading into this weekend’s games, Arsenal are second in the Premier League, just one point behind Manchester City and Liverpool. They go into the game knowing at least one of those teams will drop points before they kick off against Brentford, as they go head-to-head in the early fixture. So this could be a chance for the Gunners to consolidate second, or even move top of the league. The Gunners suffered defeat for the first time in the league against Newcastle on their last away game, but did bounce back with a 3-1 win over Burnley before the break.
This will be Mikel Arteta’s 200th match in charge of Arsenal in all competitions (W115 D34 L50) and whatever the result, he’s won more matches in his first 200 in charge of the Gunners than any of the other nine managers to reach the milestone with the club.
Brentford, meanwhile, have dropped into the bottom half of the table on goal difference after their defeat to Liverpool before the break. The Bees had built a decent run of three consecutive victories between the two international breaks, beating Burnley, Chelsea and West Ham, keeping two clean sheets. But their trip to Anfield was not a great one, with Brentford falling to a 3-0 defeat, just the second time they had failed to score in the league this season. However, their home form has been impressive having lost just one of their last 10 league games (W5 D4) at the Community staidum, going down 3-1 against Everton in September.
This will be a meeting of London derby specialists as only Arsenal (16) have a longer current unbeaten run than Brentford (14) in Premier League matches between two sides from the capital.

Brentford vs Arsenal match tip
The Gtech Community Stadium has been the place to be for goalscoring action this season. The six league games played there so far have seen 22 goals scored, averaging just under four per match. It hasn’t been inflated by one high-scoring match either, with four of the games seeing at least four goals scored. The outliers were a 1-1 draw between Brentford and Crystal Palace at the end of August, and the Bees’ 3-0 win over Burnley last month.
Brentford vs Arsenal Bet-Builder tip
BTTS and Leandro Trossard to score anytime
Leandro Trossard has been the man of the moment for Arsenal in recent weeks, playing through the middle in the absence of Gabriel Jesus and picked ahead of Eddie Nketiah. The Belgian has scored six goals for Arsenal this season across all competitions, with five of those either being the opener or the equaliser, while only against Liverpool (5) has Trossard scored more Premier League goals than he has against Brentford (3). But Arsenal must be wary of Brentford’s attack, as the Bees have only failed to score in two of their 12 league matches this season.
