Tottenham vs Bournemouth Premier League predictions: Tips, odds and team news
Tottenham and Bournemouth meet in a Premier League showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday at 2pm (UK time).
Tottenham vs Bournemouth odds
After three straight victories over Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Everton, Tottenham were brought back down to earth with a 4-2 defeat to Brighton in midweek. Spurs found themselves 2-0 down for the first time under new manager Ange Postecoglou, as goals from Jack Hinshelwood and Joao Pedro gave the Seagulls a deserved two-goal lead inside the opening 24 minutes, before a wonder strike from sub Pervis Estupinan and a second penalty of the match from Joao Pedro made it 4-0 with 76 minutes on the clock. Spurs made a late rally however, with two goals in five minutes from Alejo Veliz, who found the back of the net for the first time in the Premier League, and Ben Davies, but the comeback was not to be despite some huge chances late on.
That defeat meant Spurs missed the chance to gain ground on the teams above them in the title race, though they remain in the shuffle.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, continued their sensational run of form that has seen them pick up 19 points from a possible 21 in their last seven Premier League games and win their last four in a row, with victories over Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and most recently Fulham. It has been an incredible turnaround by Andoni Iraola, who picked up just one win and six points from their opening 11 Premier League games. The Cherries have scored at least twice in each of their last seven games, their longest-ever run of scoring multiple goals in the competition, and are looking to win five consecutive top-flight matches for the first time in their history.
