Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg live stream: Predictions, tips, odds and team news
Borussia Dortmund will look to continue their unbeaten start to the new Bundesliga season when they host Wolfsburg on Saturday at 2:30pm (UK time).
Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg odds
There will no doubt be some part of Borussia Dortmund still agonising over their failure to win the Bundesliga title last season, but they will now be channelling it to their quest this year. Edin Terzic’s side are still unbeaten after four games of the new season, though it hasn’t been a perfect start. Dortmund opened the Bundesliga campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Koln but then drew their next two matches against Bochum and Heidenheim, two very disappointing results. They did return to winning ways after the international break, securing a 4-2 victory over Freiburg to leave them just two points behind the early leaders. A 2-0 defeat away to PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday wasn’t a welcome result though.
Wolfsburg, meanwhile, are one point and one place above Dortmund in this early table. It’s been a positive start for Wolfsburg who missed out on European football completely last season with their eighth-placed finish. They opened the campaign with back-to-back wins over Heidenheim and Koln, but lost to Hoffenheim before the international break. Like Dortmund, there was a winning return, however, with Union Berlin beaten 2-1 at the weekend.

Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg match tip
Jonas Wind has been the main man for Wolfsburg this season, with only Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy (eight) netting more than his five in the Bundesliga so far. It’s hard to overstate just how important Wind has been, with the Dane directly involved in six of Wolfsburg’s seven Bundesliga goals so far – and at least one in every match.
Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg Bet-Builder tip
Over 2.5 goals, Borussia Dortmund most corners, Wolfsburg most cards
On Wolfsburg’s past two trips to the Westfalenstadion, fans have been treated to a lot of goals, though not in the way that pleases the visitors. Last season, Dortmund beat Wolfsburg 6-0 at home, following up on their 6-1 win the year prior. Despite winning three of their four Bundesliga matches this season, Wolfsburg haven’t seen much action when it comes to corners, averaging just two per game. In fact, Wolfsburg average more yellow cards (2.75) per game than corners, with no team receiving more in the Bundesliga.
