La Liga returns after the international break and Barcelona resume their title defence still unbeaten after four games. The defending champions started the new campaign as they did 2022/23, with a draw on the opening weekend. However, that has been the only blip for them so far, with Barcelona winning their next three matches. Cadiz, Villarreal and Osasuna have all fallen following the goalless draw with Getafe, to leave Barcelona third. But Barcelona will also have one eye on their Champions League opener against Royal Antwerp, which takes place on Tuesday.

Real Betis also have European football next week, but they have to wait until Thursday for their Europa League group stage opener against Rangers. The Andalusian club have had a bit of an indifferent start to the season so far, winning two, drawing one and losing one of their first four league games. The campaign started with a 2-1 win over Villarreal and goalless draw with Atletico Madrid. However, their unbeaten start came to an end with a 4-2 defeat to Athletic Bilbao. Before the international break, Betis did return to winning ways, beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0.

Barcelona vs Real Betis match tip

Willian Jose to score anytime @ 10/3 with Bet365

Barcelona will be the favourites for this match but they will have to keep Willian Jose quiet. The Real Betis man has scored three goals in four La Liga games so far this season, including on both of his starts. But not just that, the Brazilian has also opened the scoring on two occasions. Only against Espanyol, Villarreal, Las Palmas and Celta Vigo has Willian Jose scored more goals than vs Barcelona (five).
