Barcelona would need a minor miracle to win the La Liga title and their concentration is almost certainly now on securing a top two finish in La Liga, qualifying for the group stages of the Champions League as a result. The side suffered a set back with their 1-0 loss to Cadiz in their last match at Camp Nou but returned to winning ways last weekend with a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad.
Rayo Vallecano found their first win in 13 games last weekend, overcoming Espanyol by a 1-0 scoreline. Barcelona have been able to find the net with regularity this season, netting at a rate of just under two goals a game.
