Arsenal vs Ipswich Odds
How both teams go into Arsenal vs Ipswich
Arsenal lost ground on Liverpool with two draw Premier League matches, away at Fulham and, most frustratingly, at home to Everton despite completely dominating the latter before defeating Crystal Palace 5-1. Even so, the Gunners are still only six points behind Liverpool with well over half the campaign still to play.
Ipswich, meanwhile, gave their hopes of survival a massive boost with just their second win of the season, with Jack Taylor scoring in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time to decide a fiery tie with Wolves 2-1 at Molineux. They were unable to follow up that win though, losing 4-0 to Newcastle. The Tractor Boys are still in the bottom three, but now only trail 17th-place Leicester by two points.
Arsenal team news
Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all out of action for this match, but Mikel Arteta will miss Bukayo Saka most, with the attacker missing out.
Ipswich team news
Liam Delap will return from suspension for this match, while Axel Tuanzebe and George Hirst should return to fitness. Chiedozie Ogbene is sidelined long-term.
Arsenal vs Ipswich head-to-head
These two sides haven’t met in league play since April 2002, when a Freddie Ljungberg double fired Arsenal to a 2-0 win at Highbury. However, they did clash in the 2010/11 EFL Cup semi-finals, with goals from Nicklas Bendtner, Laurent Koscielny and Cesc Fabregas firing Arsene Wenger’s men to a 3-1 aggregate victory after Ipswich had won the first leg 1-0 at Portman Road.
